Theme: Restored beyond expectation.

Texts: 2 King 5: 1-14

Preacher:  Brother Serges KIRIPI

Naman, a Syrian man had leprosy, he used to be a famous warrior, but now he is treated like an outcast because of his illness. Despite his former glory and the victories, he'd secured for Syria, his condition had stripped him of his strength and hope. Like Naman, we often encounter obstacles that hinder our progress. But just as the Israelite servant recognized Naman's affliction, God has placed you in the path of someone seeking healing and restoration.

Are you ready to be used by God as an instrument of peace, healing and restoration? The servant was convinced of Naman's potential for recovery, and so should you be. Naman, despite his wealth and power, was unable to find a cure. He sought help from the prophet Elijah, who, through faith and divine intervention, healed him.

As children of God, we possess immeasurable potential. Yet, like Naman, we may harbor expectations that hinder our spiritual growth. Naman anticipated a dramatic display of power, but Elijah's approach was simple and profound. Don't be impressed by outward appearances or titles. Your true identity lies in Christ.

Approach God with humility and a willingness to submit to His will. Your expectations may not align with His plans, but His love and wisdom are always for your benefit. When you come before Him, pray with a heart of surrender, trusting that He knows what is best for you.
