This Sunday 17th of September we are launching a new series of teaching talking about THE BENEFITS WE GETS FROM FOLLOWING CHRIST

Topic of today: FOLLOWING JESUS, THE PATH TO ABANDOUNT LIFE

Text: John10:7-11,  jeremiah23:3-6

By looking at the history of the United States of America, we find that around 1923, eight(8) wealthiest people in America, were said to be the model of American youths because they were successful and their economy put together was bigger than the whole economy of America. Supposed to be the guide to this young generation these guys both ended their lives in horrible ways (suicide, depravation, zero money in the bank account, …). Their  beginning  was inspiring but the end was not

So in today's teaching, we will learn 3 priority that leads to a successful life

• Being successful is having gone through the right gate, and that gate is Jesus Christ. That will lead you to eternal happiness. If you haven’t gone through it you won’t reach the great pasture
• Being successful is accepting God to choose for you. It might seem difficult to apply but we have to be reminded that he is our creator, he alone knows what is good for us, the time required, and the meaning of every detail that happens in our life. In the story of Abraham, we see a man who didn’t get the answer in time, but through every situation God was present and later he found the answer and got a successful story. God promised to be present in every situation. For us to be able to accept his choice, we need to grow spiritually and put faith in action as Abraham did.
• Being successful is developing intangible values. These values are only given by God through the holly spirit and are called the fruit of the holly spirit  ( we have: peace, joy, self-control,…). If you look at the story of these famous people the introduction is talking about, you’ll find that the fruit of the holy spirit was the missing point for them.

So notice that being wealthy is different than being successful, If you don’t accept Jesus, his choice for you, and being filled with the holy spirit you can end up in a dramatic way like these people. The good news is that with Christ we are assured that he is with us in every situation and that all things work for our good. That a gate to peace
