Topic: A TRUE BELIEVER AND THE MISSION

As the world is facing many challenges, wars, and chaos, the question is how can a Christian believer can help strengthen the gospel in the mission field 

The purpose of this topic is to stir up once more our zeal concerning the mission field and also to prepare and be ready to support the Baptist churches project in the world. 

In today’s preaching we will define the world mission and believer also we will talk about the evangelical mission within today’s challenges in our country 

A mission is a calling or a vocation. As human beings, we can have many callings. There are some people who have been called for political matters some for social purposes and others have been called to fulfill the religious assignment. And so the mission is carried out by missionaries. And all of us can be missionaries with any exception. That means we need men and women to spread the gospel. The purpose of a missionary is to promote Christianity’s faith in the whole world. We find the great commission of Christianity in Matthew 28:19. In this verse, Jesus told the disciples ‘’Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit ‘’.  

There are two types of Missions

1. The internal mission: the internal mission is the one that all people who have been baptized in the name of Jesus and without exception are called to fulfill 
2. The external mission: the external mission is the one that requires someone to go out of his area or country and preach the gospel.

As a Christian, the main purpose of both external and internal missions is:

• To proclaim the good news
• To preach the gospel to all nations mean we must continue to teach others new beliefs to grow spiritually
• To respond to human needs
• To transform the injustice structure in the society
• Bring peace and reconciliation

In conclusion, we are all called to support the Cbca big project by being friends with the mission. As believer is called to go and spread the gospel in the world and make disciples
